Driver Spotlight: Kyle Maki, the #18 Modified, and the Power of Racing Community

Short track racing is built on community, and Kyle Maki, driver of the #18 Modified racing at Birch Run and Owosso Speedways, is a great example of that.

Kyle was actually the first driver to hire me under a photography contract, an opportunity that came through a referral from motorsports videographer Don Bennett of Bennett Media. Since then, Kyle has been more than a client; he’s helped make introductions, referred other drivers, and become a good friend along the way.
